Software Engineer

Working within a development team in designing, implementing and deploying new software functions as well as improvements to current air traffic control systems.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • BSc or higher education in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Strong object oriented programming skills, ideally with C++
  • +5 years work experience in software development
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with Linux
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience developing high availability systems
  • Experience developing within a distributed system

Lead Graphics Software Engineer

Lead development of Tern Systems 3D environment for the air traffic control tower simulator. Working with the simulator development team on new functionality, improvements and special effects.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • BSc or higher education in Computer Science or related field
  • +3 years experience with modern 3D graphics APIs like OpenGL
  • +3 experience in software development
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experienced with game engines like Unreal and Unity
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience in 3D modeling

Front End Software Engineer

To work with designers and software engineers in implementing and deploying front end components in the air traffic control domain.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • BSc or higher education in Computer Science or related technical field
  • +3 years work experience in application front end development
  • System strong object oriented programming skills, ideally with C/C++
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with relevant front end frameworks, such as QT
  • Experience with web development
  • Design and analysis experience
  • Software unit testing experience.

Test Engineer

Working within a development team in ensuring that software systems meet requirements of the air traffic control domain.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Experience in implementing effective test procedures
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • 3+ years in software testing
  • University degree in a technical field or equivalent
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent

Senior Test Engineer

Working within a development team in ensuring that software systems meet requirements of the air traffic control domain.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years working in software testing
  • Experience in implementing effective test procedures
  • Experience in co-ordinating and planning
  • Extensive knowledge of state-of-the-art testing methodologies applicable to every stage of system development
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • University degree in a technical field or equivalent
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent preferred
