Emergency Approach Control Facility in Cheongju, S-Korea

Tern has won a new contract in South-Korea, following an open tender. The project is to install the Tern ATC System (TAS) as a back-up system for the major Approach Control Centers in S-Korea; Seoul, Gimhae and Jeju. The system will be installed in four locations, the main system in Cheongju but with additional working positions located at each of the Approach Centers.
Additionally to the TAS, Tern will also deliver a simulator to provide a training and testing environment.

This project is important to Tern Systems and a logical continuation of our operations in Korea, following the successful implementation of TAS at three airports in 2016, Pohang, Ulsan and Uljin.
